August J. Moretti served as 4DMT's Chief Financial Officer since January 2019 and announced his retirement as Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary effective September 11, 2023, continuing as a Senior Business Advisor through the end of 2023 and then as a consultant through December 31, 2024. His retirement was not the result of any disagreement with the Company.
Mr. Moretti previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Assertio Therapeutics (formerly Depomed, Inc.) from January 2012 until August 2018. From 2004 to December 2011, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc. From 2001 to 2004, he was Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of Alavita, Inc., and from 1982 to 2000 he was a partner in an international law firm.
Mr. Moretti received his B.A. in Economics from Princeton University in 1972 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1975.
